The Bournemouth Air Festival is a renowned show of aeroplanes which runs from late August to early September, with a packed timetable of music concerts by the beach running alongside the acrobatic excellence.

In the high summer what could be better than heading down to the golden sands of Bournemouth beach to soak in acrobatic displays by some of the most famous international flying teams? Well the Bournemouth Air Festival allows you to do just that, with a full timetable of displays by the Red Arrows, RAF flying squadron, Tigers parachute team and many more ready to thrill the crowds. Moreover the air show is completely free of charge so anyone can come along to watch, plus a host of music concerts and activities run alongside the festival thus making it perfect for a family day out. The exact dates of the festival vary annually, however it is typically run in late August to early September, thus taking advantage of hot UK weather making it a perfect way to finish the kid’s summer holidays before they go back to school. There is also a hospitality tent at the festival serving delicious cuisine from the local hotels, plus refreshing glasses of fizzy prosecco to enjoy with the aeronautical excellence.
